Our client is a leading player in industrial engineering and consultancy. They support clients within the industry in realizing future-proof projects focused on sustainability, digitalization, and process optimization. You'll work in multidisciplinary teams on high-value investment projects, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.

Over de functie

As a Construction Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing renovation projects in a pharmaceutical environment. The scope of work includes:

Civil: demolition of internal walls and renovation of the resulting lab space
Electrical: installation of a new distribution board and E-infrastructure (primarily multiple wall outlets)
HVAC: removal of existing and installation of new air ducts

Your responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the progress and scope of work carried out by contractors. You will identify delays and ensure corrective actions are taken in time by the contractor, based on the activity sequence approved by the Construction/Project Manager.
  • Inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring the correction of work performed by contractors, according to general technical guidelines, legal requirements, applicable standards, and specifications stated in the contract documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with QHSE regulations on-site, reporting unsafe situations, and taking corrective actions to guarantee safety and health for all involved personnel.
  • Reporting the current status of the work to the Construction/Project Manager in accordance with agreements, to support alignment and progress during the construction phase.
  • Checking and reporting additional work to the Construction/Project Manager, based on the contract interpretation, material take-offs, and unit prices to ensure cost transparency and control.
Wat vragen wij van jou
  • A completed MBO 4 or HBO (Associate/Bachelor) degree in a technical field
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Engineer or Supervisor, especially in HVAC
  • Demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical/food projects and renovation projects in the €1–3 million range
  • Solid understanding of technical regulations and QHSE standards
  • Proficient in English (must), Dutch is a plus
  • Driving license is a plus
  • Strong communicator, assertive, and results-oriented
  • Available from September 1, 2025, through August 28, 2026
  • Both payroll and freelance (ZZP) candidates are welcome

Indicative salary range according to the Dutch Construction & Civil Engineering collective labor agreement (UAV-GC projects): between €4,200 and €5,400 gross per month based on full-time employment. Freelance rate negotiable.
